The Hunsbury Hill Centre Wedding

This was my first time at the Hunsbury Hill Centre venue in Northampton. The light inside the venue was awesome and made for some lovely images. Fiona and Harry were a pleasure to work with, real laid back and a lovely couple. The day was filled with laughter, joy and Ice Cream! We started the day at both the couple’s parent’s homes.

The gold ring belonged to Fiona’s grandmother and was passed on to her mum. They estimated the ring to be around fifty years old.  I put it next to her engagement ring because of the sentimental value it holds.

Fiona’s bridesmaids were all smiles in the morning and of course the prosecco helped keep the lively atmosphere.

Fiona had custom notes and gifts for her bridal party and mum.

Fiona’s dress was a beautiful wedding gown. I love putting wedding dresses in the light because it brings out the details of the dress.

The beautiful bride.

Fiona’s brother walked her down the aisle.

After the ceremony, the couple had a few minutes before the guests came to congratulate them. They were evidently in their element.

The VW van was awesome. Thanks to Gerry of Gerry Splitscreen Weddings for waiting and allowing us to get some images in the van.

FHB2015-70Thanks to Fiona and Harry for giving me time for portraits. I love when couples make time for portraits on their day.

The light in The Hunsbury Hill Centre was gorgeous and allowed for great captions like this of Harry during his speech.

A toast to the bride and groom. To happiness, love and lots of laughter. #Cheers

The couples first dance.

I love this image of Fiona throwing her bouquet.

Harry and Fiona treated all thier guests to an ice cream.

Mum thoroughly enjoyed the day and danced the night away.

I would like to say thanks to Adedapo Segun who shot alongside me and also my trusted assistant Ayodeji. It would not have been possible without your help.

Fiona and Harry, I want to say a heartfelt thanks for allowing us to be a part of your day. You are an amazing couple and it was an absolute pleasure to share and be a part of it. I wish you a joyous marriage and sure you will have many more occasions to celebrate in the near future. I created a slideshow with some more images set along to some music. I hope you enjoy 🙂
